Covering Kids & Families of Indiana, Inc. (CKF-IN) is a statewide organization committed to ensuring that all children and families eligible for Medicaid and the State’s Children’s Health Insurance Program (SCHIP) are enrolled.
The Tobacco Prevention and Cessation Program works to reduce the smoking rates in LaPorte County by promoting the 1-800- Quit-Now line. This is a free service available to anyone that wants to quit smoking.
SCRIPT® – Smoking Cessation and Reduction in Pregnancy Treatment – is an award-winning, evidence-based program shown to be effective in helping thousands of pregnant women quit smoking.
The Tobacco Prevention and Cessation Commission from the Indiana Department of Health has afforded HCLC the opportunity to collaborate with many local healthcare providers, employers, and organizations on innovative prevention and cessation projects throughout LaPorte County.
The Health Coalition is focused on improving the health of LaPorte County and surrounding areas by bringing together local organizations to advocate for a healthier community. The coalition aims to develop and implement innovative programs and initiatives that promote better health outcomes for all residents of LaPorte County.
